Congratulations on enrolling at Hertford Regional College for the 2026-27 academic year. Below is some useful information which will help you before you start your course.
The College’s Autumn term starts on Monday 7th September 2026, please check your timetable to ensure you attend campus on the correct days.
New Students
Set up your HRC account as soon as possible – you should have received an email from us which includes the details. Check your junk folder if you have not yet received this.
You MUST update your password and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for this account before you are able to access any other services or applications.
For full instructions of how to set up MFA and reset your password please click here.
Returning Students
If you were a student with us last year, you will continue using your same password and MFA. If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it by going to this link https://outlook.office.com/ - you must be able to access MFA to do this.
If you have a new phone, or have deleted the Microsoft Authenticator app, you will need to contact us to get MFA set up.
