Our Public Services tutors have an impressive array of medals and commendations from their time in the Army and Police force. A key part of our Public Services courses is Bootcamp – a residential trip at the start of the year which focuses on team building and fitness. This is complemented with ongoing work experience throughout the year including stewarding and assisting the police at community events.
You will learn to lead effective teams, study key legal information and gain a clear, professional understanding of what it takes to be a leading member of the Public Services. Students will have many opportunities to play their part in improving the community and building their skillset throughout the duration of this course. This can be through taking part in volunteering alongside course mates or completing the coveted Duke of Edinburgh Award.
