We provide various qualifications for those aspiring to enter the field of teaching within the Further Education and Lifelong Learning sector, along with professional development courses designed for practicing teachers and trainers. Our aim is to boost you with the confidence needed to advance in your career.
We are very proud of the reputation we have built for our teacher training programmes, which are particularly notable for their success rates. Our experienced team of tutors and assessors will help you develop the skills needed in a supportive learning environment. Our courses provide you with the opportunity to explore educational issues, new innovations and up-to-date teaching, learning and assessment theories with the aim of applying principles to your own specialist area.
This is a short introductory teaching qualification that teaches the basics of how to plan and deliver learning sessions. You don’t need to be a teacher already.
It is for people thinking about becoming a teacher or trainer, those delivering occasional training sessions or a first step into teaching.
This qualification focuses on understanding learners with additional needs.
It is aimed at teachers, teaching assistants, support staff or anyone working with learners with SEN or disabilities.

It is for practising teachers in colleges or training providers, those aiming for recognised teaching status in FE or similar setting.
This is a degree‑level teaching qualification, it gives you advanced teaching skills and knowledge, showing you can teach, reflect on practice, and meet professional standards at a high level.
It is for graduates working in teaching or training and those aiming for higher‑level professional recognition.

Our Teacher Training courses emphasise the importance of work experience and students will have the opportunity to network with other practitioners in order to gain a first-hand perspective of the teaching industry.
