Congratulations on enrolling at Hertford Regional College for the 2025/26 academic year.
Below is some useful information which will help you through the enrolment process.
Set up your HRC account as soon as possible – you should have received an email from us which includes the details. Check your junk folder if you have not yet received this. If you are a returning student, please note that your previous password will not work.
You MUST update your password and setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for this account before you are able to access any other services or applications.
For full instructions of how to setup MFA and reset your password please click here.
Need some IT support? Please visit our Technology Centres for more help.
Find your timetable, get details about your course, and access a range of other resources on the MyDay app. Download the app and sign in with your college email and password. The app will be activated after your enrolment at HRC.
Click to download the Wisdom app. It’s free for all HRC students and has content to support your wellbeing.
Use the activation code MHA195873 when prompted.
You have also been provided with an account that grants you access to the eShop, where you may purchase any course-specific items required by your department, such as materials or trips.
Log in to the HRC eShop using your college email address.
Upon your first login, you will be prompted to reset your password by selecting the “Request Link” option. A link to set up your password will then be sent to your college email address.
If you believe you may be eligible for a bursary and have the means to pay in advance, you are welcome to do so, and reimbursement can be arranged once your bursary application has been approved by Learner Support. If you are unable to make payment upfront, please contact the Information Centre, who will review your eligibility for bursary support and advise you on the appropriate course of action.
If you have any difficulties or problems with using or accessing the eShop please contact StoreAdmin@hrc.ac.uk
HRC is a cashless college, but you can load money onto your ID badge to pay for food and drinks at our refectories and Starbucks, benefitting from a range of discounts. Scan the code below and register for uPAY using the affiliate ID HRC and your student number.
All our students can start each day of study with a free breakfast. Served between 8:15 am and 8:45 am, students have a choice from:
All options are served with a hot beverage.
Please note that our free breakfast is provided by the college, not through bursary funding.
Don’t forget to bring your ID badge with you every day in order to gain access to College. HRC operates a ‘no ID no entry’ policy so if you forget it you will need to go home to collect it, pay £5 for a new card, or pay £3 to reactivate an old card.
If you require any assistance with the enrolment process, you can contact our Information Centre on 01992 411411, or at info@hrc.ac.uk
