Calling All Artists & Designers

Art Exhibition Poster

Hertford Regional College is pleased to announce our forthcoming, biennial Open Exhibition, in our David Gentleman Gallery at the Ware campus. This exhibition is completely open, welcome to all artists and designers of any discipline or medium.

This is a wonderful opportunity for artists and designers of any age and level – from aspiring beginners to professional artists – to exhibit in our stunning, industry-standard gallery space. The exhibition will run for four weeks between 3 – 28 February and will include a Private View and Awards Night on 30 January 2025. We hope that this exhibition will showcase the variety and diversity of local talent within the art and design fields, as well as sparking new conversations and relationships within our local area.

Two amazing local businesses that we work with, KGKGenix and Mtec, have kindly sponsored the exhibition, with a £250 prize for Best in Show, and £100 commendations in the following categories:

Young Artists (Aged 15 and under)

Emerging Artists (Aged 16-19)

Adult (Aged 20+)

All winners will be featured on our gallery website and social media platforms.

For full terms, conditions and requirements, please see the Submission Guidance section below.

We look forward to receiving your submissions, and we can’t wait to see you on 30th January 2025 for the Private View and Awards Night.

Kind regards,
