It plays a vital role in the creative and retail sectors, from mastering technical chemical services and trend-led styling to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of salon health and safety.
Studying hairdressing as an apprenticeship allows you to gain practical, hands-on experience in a real working environment while developing valuable skills in creative styling, effective communication, and commercial awareness. It’s an ideal route if you have a passion for creativity and fashion, enjoy interacting with people, and prefer earning while learning towards a recognised qualification.

Our Current Apprenticeships
Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship
As an apprentice Hairdressing Professional, you’ll always be working in a customer facing environment, which can vary in size, style and ambiance, from a small micro salon to a large high street premises.
The main purpose of your role is to provide a range of hairdressing services that meet client requirements, that are based on comprehensive consultation, applicable industry tests, whilst maintaining exceptional client care skills, safe working practices, meeting legal, industry and organisation standard, procedures and protocols.
You’ll be creative, passionate and driven whilst working to the highest standards, interacting with a wide and diverse range of clients, the salon team, and other associated hair and beauty professionals.
Starting Your Hairdressing Apprenticeship Journey
An apprenticeship is a form of employment, so the application process is slightly different to a normal course. You apply directly to the employer, and there may be an interview, just like a normal job application.
