Working with an experienced printmaking tutor, this workshop will give you an induction to the print studio. You will be introduced to a range of printmaking processes; lino, collograph and monoprint, using our intaglio and relief presses. You will be encouraged to experiment and develop your images and ideas and will have the opportunity to exhibit your work in our ‘Short Course Showcase’ in the David Gentleman Gallery.
This course is suitable for beginners and those who want to refresh their skills. You will need to bring images and ideas to work from, and it would be useful to have a sketchbook to record your processes and develop ideas outside of sessions.
