A GCSE Maths qualification is fundamental for employment and education prospects and has become an essential requirement by most employers seeking to recruit new staff.
Students on this course will learn about the five key areas of the GCSE Maths programme, which includes numbers, algebra, ratios and proportion, geometry and measure and statistics and probability.
The course is assessed by three final exams which are externally assessed by the awarding body.
You will attend for 3 hours per week and will cover the following topics to preapre for your exam:

You will also be taking a series of mock tests and exams throughout the year to help you track your progress and identify areas for development.
A relevant workbook is provided to all students taking the GCSE Maths exam.
On application you will be invited to take a maths assessment at the HRC Learning Centre. This will allow our Tutors to assess your current level and will indicate if you are suitable for the course or if an alternative maths programme may initially be required.
