Level 2 Performing & Production Arts

Learn creative skills and perform in our state-of-the-art Michael Morpurgo Theatre at our Broxbourne campus. With professional dance studios, a recording and TV studio, plus tutors with industry experience, you’ll learn the skills of the trade in preparation for your career. Our 140-seat performance theatre will allow you to showcase your talents with the help of the latest lighting and sound technology.

• As a Performing and Production Arts student, you will gain vital work experience including working on matinees and evening performances at both the Michael Morpurgo Theatre and other local theatres
• Our Performing Arts students regularly tour local schools with productions and have previously visited Princess Alexandra Hospital to entertain the children’s ward
• You will experience the production aspects of producing a performance; working behind the scenes to plan and deliver a show
• HRC students are well-known for putting on outstanding shows, being recognised by award-winning writer, Michael Morpurgo as having ‘wonderful talent’
