The City& Guilds level 1 diploma is the industry recognised starting point for trades peole wanting to work in the construction industry. Well trained and skilled carpenters can enjoy excellent employment and are well paid, typically £200 per day.
The diploma is designed to introduce you to the skills and knowledge needed to build a career in the industry as a carpenter and joiner. You will study both practical and knowledge units as well as online independent study. On completion of your diploma you will be able to go into the workplace, become an apprentice or progress to the next level of training. The course runs over two days plus any maths and English you may need.
