The VTCT Level 2 Award in LED Gel Polish Techniques is a single unit award qualification designed to give you the knowledge to apply, maintain, and remove LED gel polish products to the nails.

This qualification also covers the effective health, safety and hygiene practices required throughout treatment.

What will I be doing?

This course will give you the skills and knowledge to provide LED Gel polish treatments, from application and maintenance to removing products from the nails.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through a combination of short assignments, tests, and practical assessments of your work. You will also complete a portfolio of evidence.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements for this course are:Level 2 Award in Manicure Services, or equivalent, and the Level 2 Award in Providing Pedicure Treatments, or equivalent.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to attend in a Salon tunic/black top and black trousers/leggings.A kit is not required for this courses but is recommended, to allow you to practice at home. Your tutor will discuss this with you at the start of the course.
