During this 6 week workshop students will make a minimum of 2 different types of cushions; box and piped, moving on to a bolster if time permits, and will include how to insert different types of zips.

What do I need to bring?

Students will need to provide their own cushion pads, according to preferred filling, and top fabrics. Neutral zips and threads will be provided, students should provide their own if they would prefer to colour match these.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, all levels welcome. It would be useful but not essential to have access to a sewing machine at home.

This course is scheduled on a Tuesday evening, 19:00 – 21:00, at our Ware Campus.

All our Art & Design Short Courses are for aged 18+ unless otherwise specified.

Once your booking/payment has been processed on our system, you will receive an email confirming your booking (please allow 3-5 working days for this).

The Department will contact you via email with start-up instructions approximately 1 week before the start of the course.

Please monitor your junk mail for emails from us as we are aware some of our system generated emails can end up there.

All our Art & Design short courses and workshops run subject to reaching minimum numbers. In the event we are unable to run the course/workshop you are booked on to, you will be offered a space on an alternative course or a full refund of the course fee.

We endeavour to remove our courses from the website once they are full, in the unlikely event you are able pay for a course/workshop that is full, you will be offered a space on an alternative course or a full refund of the course fee.
