This course is designed for trade persons, other allied professionals and, in the main, qualified electricians that work in the electrical industry that involve meeting the requirements for electrical installations to BS7671. You should already be working to the latest amendment and have a reasonable, sound knowledge of the BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations. Prior to starting this course you should have gained adequate knowledge, experience and relevant qualifications that deem you competent to work in the electrical industry to enable you to meet the BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installation.

At the end of the course the participants will have an understanding of the requirements for electrical installations BS7671:2022 and it is intended that individuals are conversant with the format, content and application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2022.

The IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) are the definitive standards for the electrical industry in respect of safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. They set requirements and operating criteria for the UK and correspond to standards and are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).

The course in the main will be classroom based delivery and it is intended to ensure that individuals are conversant with the format, content and application of the Rquirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018.

The course consists of a final on-line open book multiple choice exam.

  • You will require the IET Wiring Requirements 18th Edition:BS7671:2022 Requirements for Electrical Installations
  • Pencil case with writing pens, pencils, coloured pencils and pens, scientific calculator, ruler, set square protractor, compass, notepad with lined and plain paper together with an A4 folder.

Candidates should have gained adequate knowledge, experience and relevant qualifications such as a level 2 Dipolma in electrical instalation that deem them competent to work in the electrical industry to enable them to meet the BS7671 Requiremetns for Electrical Installations.
