The Training for this course is delivered over 41 weeks 2 days per week at the CK Assessment and Training Centre on the Nazeing Glassworks Industrial Estate (10 minutes’ walk from Broxbourne Train Station).

You will follow an integrated programme at CK Assessment and Training in Nazeing. This qualification is for students wanting to learn the basic skills of Plumbing. The qualification covers a range of tasks and underpinning knowledge involved in plumbing work.  Assessments are taken in health and safety, copper and plastic pipework, installation of plumbing systems, drainage, maintenance, environmental technologies.
Assessment is continuous throughout the course and includes practical assignments together with written and oral tests.
Protective footwear with steel-toe caps must be worn during practical workshop sessions (these can be either boots or trainers).
A keen interest in following a career in Plumbing. No prior qualifications are necessary, however students will be required to study Maths and English alongside the course at either GCSE or Functional Skill level depending on the grade previously achieved.You must be able to attend the centre in Nazeing two days per week and arrive by 9:00am each day.All students must have completed a successful initial assessment and interview to be offered a place on the course.
Free to those under 19 on 31st August of that academic year.
