T Levels are the new two-year qualification, perfect for students who know what industry they want to work in and are looking for a combination of practical work experience and theory learning.
T Levels are an alternative to A Levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent in size to 3 A Levels, T Levels are primarily designed for entry into skilled employment. However, they also allow progression to an apprenticeship or to further study in a related area, including at university.
Each T Level course includes an industry placement with an employer, focussing on developing the practical and technical skills required for the sector. This lasts approximately 45 days and allows students to experience the workplace and for employers to get early sight of new talent in their industry.
